ANIMAL GENERAL HOSPITAL

About AGH

Animal General Hospital strives to provide the finest veterinary care and husbandry possible to wildlife and domestic animals while teaching ethical and humane veterinary medicine to the future's veterinary technicians, field conservationists, zoo keepers and those interested in other animal related disciplines.

Animal General Hospital is a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation. AGH relies on the tax deductible contributions of individuals, corporations, and businesses.

We hope to play an important role in helping to reduce the number of unwanted pets being euthanized each year in Los Angeles animal shelters.

AGH goals

  • Reduce dog and cat overpopulation through free and affordable spay/neuter programs.
  • Promote responsible animal care through education, preventive medicine, and community outreach.
  • Act as a referral center for patients requiring special diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures and giving veterinarians a place to send clients who have exhausted their ability to pay for proper treatment of an animal.
  • Develop new knowledge in the diagnosis and treatment of animal diseases through patient responses to treatment.

AGH Director and Founder, Jennifer Conrad, DVM, is also the veterinary director of Cambodia Wildlife SanctuaryClick here for more information and learn how you can help save tigers, elephants, and other endangered species in their native habitat.
